No AI slop here

It’s a sad state of affairs that such a policy/disclaimer is even needed.

Everything on this website, from the written content, illustrations, photographs as well as the code that runs the site itself were written and drawn by me, a real human being with feelings and shortcomings. Not by AI, an LLM, a machine, an agent, a robot or whatever you may want to call it.

I am not against AI, but definitely against AI being used to generate art, stealing the hard work of millions of artists, writers and programmers/developers without permission. I only wish all the focus on AI was in areas that help society, like medical diagnosis and research, instead of generating/hallucinating content that is forgotten in a day. Maybe someday.

Yes, I could have saved time by generating code for this website, but I make websites because I enjoy writing code. It makes me think, take decisions and keeps my mind active. I don’t mind spending months designing small things and writing code, failing and trying again than let a machine do my thinking for me.
